Following reports circulating around and in social media that the former vice-president is planning to leave the National Super Alliance (NASA) if he is not named the coalition’s presidential flag bearer, Kalonzo Musyoka has come out to lay this rumours to rest.
Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, refuted the reports and adding on that nothing that will stop him from contesting in the 2017 presidential elections.
“Nobody will stop me from seeking the flag-bearer seat,” Kalonzo told the media, adding that he cannot be sold to the highest bidder. “I have no apologies to make for saying that I will seek the Nasa presidential ticket.”
Kalonzo says he is firmly in NASA adding that he is hoping to be named the main opposition presidential candidate, but he has at the same time said he will remain in NASA if not picked as the Presidential candidate.
