Nigeria: Man allegedly brutalized and almost shot by soldiers who mistook him for someone else in Rivers state

A man is fortunate to be alive after he was allegedly almost shot by soldiers in Oyigbo, Rivers state.

 

To enforce order in Oyigbo, a curfew was imposed and soldiers have been parading the area.

One man in Oyigbo was allegedly beaten up by soldiers after they mistook him for someone else. Fortunately, another soldier intervened and revealed he was mistaken for someone else.

Photos of the man are going viral online and show him with bruises and whip marks on his face and all over his body.

Narrating what allegedly happened, a pastor named Chigozie Nosiri wrote:
