Egypt final list for Togo matches announced

CAIRO-8 November 2020: Egypt national team manager Hossam El Badry announced the final list for Togo matches in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

Egypt will face Togo on 13 November in Cairo and they will meet again four days later in Lome.

Egypt squad consists of:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed El Shenawi – Mohamed Abo Gabal – Mohamed Bassam

Defenders: Mohamed Hany – Mahmoud Alaa – Mahmoud Hamdy – Ayman Ashraf – Ali Gabr – Ahmed Hegazi – Mohamed Hamdy – Ahmed Aboelfottouh

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed – Amr El Solia – Mohamed Magdy Afsha – Abdullah El Said – Mohamed Elneny – Ahmed Tawfik – Hamdy Fathy – Ramadan Sobhy – Ahmed Sayed Zizo – Mahmoud Trezeguet

Strikers: Mohamed Salah, Mostafa Mohamd – Ahmed Hassan Koka – Hossam Hassan – Mohamed Sherif

Egypt plays in Group C in the Qualifiers alongside Comoros, Kenya and Togo.

Egypt comes third in the group with two draws with Kenya at home and Comoros in Moroni.

Togo got only one point after two games in the qualifiers as they lost the opening game at home against Comoros while the second game against Kenya ended with a 1-1 draw.
