Burna Boy To Feature in U.S. Presidential Inauguration Playlist

Multi award-winning Nigerian artiste, Damini ‘Burna Boy‘ Ogulu, has become a pace setter for other African musicians as a song from his ‘African Giant’ album will be featured in US President-elect, Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration playlist.

The musician’s single, ‘Destiny’ off the African Giant project has been selected among the playlist to grace the historic American event.

According to online sources, the song made the cut for the almost 50-long list of songs to be used in the presidential swearing-in which will take place on the January 20, 2021.

The Inauguration playlist which is compiled by Issa Rae’s Raedio imprint, DJ D-Nice and the Presidential Inaugural Committee, comprises of 46 tracks, featuring Burna Boy, Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, SZA and a couple of other talented artistes.

Destiny is the number 13 track on Burna’s album, African Giant released in 2019. The album earned him a Grammy nomination in 2019/2020 under the ‘Best World Music’ category.
