A gunman shot two individuals dead and injured another on Church Street in downtown Kingston this afternoon.

Dwayne Hall, 34, of Tower Street and Ladd Lane in Kingston, and Kirkland Damion Baker, 37, of Bayshore Park in Harbour View, St Andrew, were killed, according to police.

The man who was injured is 24 years old.

The motive for the murder has yet to be determined by the authorities.

According to information received by advertafrica.net, about 12:30 p.m., a man jumped on the three men and began fire on them. On Port Royal Street, he is said to have escaped on a motorcycle.

All three injured males were sent to the hospital, where Hall and Baker died at 12:47 and 12:50 p.m., respectively. The injured guy was taken to the hospital right away for surgery.

Several videos of the incident have gone viral on the internet since then.
