Huang Weison of Lusaka’s Makeni is in court after threatening to kill a woman in a message on the social media and instant messaging platform WeChat, according to Chomba Musika.
Mr. Weison, 42, is charged with two counts of making written threats to kill someone and making derogatory remarks about someone else because of their race.
According to the first count, Weison allegedly threatened to kill Aida Wang in a WeChat message that was sent to her in 2020.

The second accusation relates to him posting a racially offensive message on the Chinese platform WeChat.
Weison appeared before Lusaka magistrate Kawama Mwamfuli yesterday and entered a not guilty plea to the accusations.
