Shatta Wale has hit out at Stonebwoy for alleging that he stole his “Gringo” and “My Level” songs…

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has hit back at record-mate Stonebwoy following the latter’s claim that he stole some songs from other artistes.

The pair have not always been on the same page in recent times, and have already clashed severally this year.

Speaking on the Joy Showbiz show, Stonebwoy said Shatta Wale’s “Gringo” and “My Level” hit songs were stolen from other artistes.

He alleged that ‘Gringo’ was stolen from Jamaican dancehall superstar, Vybz Kartel, while “My Level” has also been claimed by an Ivorian singer identified as Bernadio 1-sidem.

“The guy who owns the “My Level” song has already come out to claim it and the ‘Gringo’ that he [Shaata Wale] released also had its own problems,”  Stonebowy said.

Asked by the host if the song belongs to Vybz Kartel, the Bhim Nation boss replied that: “That is what I know.”

However, responding to his rival, Shatta Wale rather opted to mock Stonebwoy’s leg.

In a Snapchat video, Shatta Wale described Stonebwoy as a “fool” for saying he stole those songs.

“Stonebwoy has been fooling, why would he say that “My Level” is a stolen track? You (Stonebwoy) like to worry people’s soul. You are on one leg and you are using it to worry people,” Shatta Wale said in the video.

Both Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are set to hold mega end-of-year shows for their fans on December 28.
