Wizkid, a renowned musician from Nigeria, claimed that the late, legendary singer Bob Marley is a major source of inspiration for him.

The Essence singer recently stated that in addition to controlling his ego and aiming to “live forever” through his music like Marley during a discussion about his next album, “More Love Less Ego.”

When Wizkid saw the Bob Marley musical play “Get Up, Stand Up,” he claimed it strengthened his desire to make sure he accomplishes the second goal.

“I want to live forever. Not physically, but for whatever I create to live forever,” he explained.

Watching the Marley musical play, according to Big Wiz, helped him to reaffirm his life goals.

He said; “I was like, ‘Yo, we’re watching a Bob Marley play and this guy died decades ago.’

“I didn’t even know that he died at 36. He did so much at a young age. It just reaffirms what I do; I have to keep taking this to the highest heights.

“Because I know one day they’re definitely going to create a play about me.”

More Love Less Ego will be released on Friday, November 11, 2022, as Wizkid previously said.
