Oprah Winfrey, a media magnate, has talked openly about the menopause symptoms she went through.
The 68-year-old TV host admitted that she experienced acute heart palpitations that gave her the impression that she was about to pass away. During an episode of The Checkup With Dr. David Agus on Paramount Plus, Oprah talked openly about her difficulties with menopause.

The process of menopause, which marks the end of a woman’s monthly cycle, can cause minor or severe symptoms.

Winfrey said that when her symptoms grew worse, they kept her up all night and caused her to doubt her sanity.

Because she wasn’t sure if she’d survive the night, she remarked, “I have diaries where I write stuff like this.

“Every night I felt like I was going to die.”

She remarked that everytime she began to experience menopause, she felt restless and found it difficult to concentrate long enough to read.

The presenter added that heart palpitations were one of her most severe symptoms and that it was the reason the Oprah Book Club was discontinued.

“I suffer heart palpitations and have been perimenopausal since I was in my late 40s.” In an effort to determine what was wrong with me, I visited every doctor I could find,’ she claimed.

Winfrey disclosed that she saw five different medical professionals in an effort to identify the source of her heart palpitations and find a cure.

She recalled visiting a female heart specialist who prescribed her heart medication and performed an angiography on her to demonstrate how blood moves through arteries, veins, or the heart.

Nobody has ever considered that the woman may be experiencing menopause, according to Winfrey.
