The Kabwe High Court sentenced a 20-year-old Serenje, Central Province man who admitted having sex with a chicken to 15 years in prison with hard labor.
Last October, Philip Chibuye, a peasant farmer in the Pliyeshi district, was seen having sex with a chicken. The police then arrested him and charged him with an unnatural offense. He was then brought before the Serenje Magistrate’s Court, where he claimed he had sex with the bird on purpose.
