Banky W fails to win a constituency seat

Thaddeus Attah, a candidate for the Labour party, has been proclaimed the victor of the contest for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Prof. Funmilayo Odukoya, the INEC Returning Officer, claims that Attah received 24,075 votes in total to defeat Mr. Babjide Obanikoro of the APC and comedian Olubankole Wellington aka Banky W of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who each received 18,666 votes.
