Minority Chief Whip in Parliament Hon Alhaji Muntaka Mubarak, Member of Parliament for Asawase has said there is unanimity among lawmakers of both sides of the house to have their colleague MP from Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong punished.

Mr Muntaka was speaking on Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM following a press statement from the minority over the killing of Ahmed Hussein Suale, a protegé of ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The minority said they are convinced Kennedy Agyapong must be arrested immediately over his utterances which they believe led to the death of one Ahmed Hussein Suale, a member of Tiger Eye PI.

“Ken Agyapong needs to be punished for instigating violence against Tiger Eye PI Members… Majority of NPP MPs agree with us that the conducts of Ken Agyapong are unbecoming of an MP and Parliament needs to check him”, Muntaka told Ekosii Sen.

“Excessive partisanship in Parliament and our governance life is destroying Ghana. We must work to fight it wholly”.

“I cannot say that Ken Agyapong is guilty for the murder of Ahmed but his actions not good as MP. Any lawful Country should questioning Ken Agyapong over the murder of Ahmed. His comments and actions uncalled for” Muntaka added.

“The comments & actions of Hon. Ken Agyapong are unbecoming of an MP and Parliament needs to bring him to book” he opined.
