Rufai Oseni, a popular TV broadcaster, has given some thought-provoking questions to newly-elected legislators who have won various seats in the 2023 elections.
The broadcaster, known for his fiery style, grilled numerous politicians who had engaged in different election malpractices and intimidation to attain their current positions.
Rufai wondered if these varied politicians had gained the trust and approval of the governed, or if all they had achieved was the fear, intimidation, and disgust of the people they sought to dominate.
He pushed them to examine their consciences because the past would always come back to haunt them during their final days on Earth, and whether or not they would be proud of what they had done would be determined by their current deeds.
