Tiwa Savage, a prominent female musician from Nigeria, gave a performance during King Charles III’s coronation celebration on Sunday night at Windsor Castle.
Numerous foreign leaders, royals, and diplomats attended the crowning of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on Saturday at Westminster Abbey.
One of the around a dozen artists listed for the show was Tiwa.
The announcer announced her as the “Queen of Afro Beats” as she took the stage wearing a green gown and performing the song “Keys to the Kingdom.”
When a drummer entered the stage during the longer than three-minute performance, Tiwa performed Yoruba-inspired dancing moves to thunderous acclaim.
Members of the royal family and audience members cheered as she finished her performance.
