Controversial Afia Schwarzenegger, a Ghanaian socialite and comedian, has commented on Hajia4Reall’s incarceration.
Hajia4Reall was extradited to the United States from the United Kingdom over alleged involvement in a $2 million romance scam that preyed on older, lonely Americans, according to a number of international news portals and the FBI in the United States.
The 30-year-old model was in federal court in Manhattan on Monday, May 15 for her alleged participation in a number of romantic scams, according to federal authorities.
Since then, the news has been all over social media, dominating Twitter trends and receiving a lot of feedback from online users.
A few famous people have spoken their opinions on the matter, including Bridget Otoo, Shatta Wale, and others.
Afia stated that Hajia should be praised for her bravery rather than criticized, joining the chorus of famous people who have expressed an opinion.
She argued that the socialite should be applauded for attempting a behaviour that many men would not dare attempt.
She believed that Hajia should be commended for recovering some of the resources that our white colonial overlords (white men) had taken from us.
“Celebrate Hajia4Reall because she has done well. We were colonized by white men who came for our resources, and Hajia4Reall has now decided to fight our battle for us by taking back what belongs to us and you people are angry? What are you saying? By the time she comes out, she will be taking more than $ 2 million.
“She has done what a lot of men cannot do. It is a Guinness Book of Records kind of thing. Have you seen that Hajia’s story has shut down the buzz around Hilda Baci. She cooked 100 dollars, but she doesn’t have $ 2 million,” she stated during a TikTok live.
In the meantime, the accused, Mona Faiz Montrage, also known as “Hajia4Reall” or “Mona4FReall,” has entered a not-guilty plea.
Her attorney and the prosecutor’s office have verified that she will be released on home detention to her aunt’s New Jersey house in the upcoming days on a $500,000 bond with GPS tracking via an ankle monitor.
