Emdee Tiamiyu, a Nigerian YouTuber, has come under fire for comments he made during an interview about Nigerians and immigration to the UK.
After UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman declared a restriction on Nigerians and other overseas students bringing family members to the country while enrolled in a master’s study, Emdee agreed to an interview.
After the ban was announced, Tiamiyu claimed in an interview with the BBC that most Nigerian students easily lose focus while studying in the UK since they utilise Masters as a gateway to enter the nation.
Tiamiyu, an Osun native and immigrant in the nation, implied that Nigerians are not being sincere about their reasons for attending school in the UK.
