Marie-Claire Rupio, Christian Atsu’s wife, seems to be getting over her husband’s death, but social media users aren’t happy and are reminding her that she still has obligations!

The late Ghanaian footballer’s widow recently posted a video of herself dancing joyfully to the mega-hit song “Unavailable” by Nigerian superstar Davido, taken from his album “Timeless.”

Rupio was displaying some very remarkable dance moves as he moved enthusiastically to the music.

Some online users, however, weren’t pleased and jumped into comments to urge her to keep grieving her husband.

They claim that widows in Africa are expected to mourn for six to twelve months, while Atsu has only been gone for, at most, a few.

Others stood behind her: “What Ghanaians don’t realize is that what she is doing is a form of healing. Distraction, occupation are all forms of healing. It doesn’t mean that she’s still not broken by her loss. People need to learn to mind their own business. Pray for her instead of criticizing her. Peoples mental health is important however you cope is up to you!” one fan said.
