According to information released by Guinness World Records, approximately 1,500 applications from Nigerians were received.
Many Nigerians have imitated chef Hilda Baci after she recently broke the record for the longest individual cooking marathon.
Many marathons have been run to break different records. There have been the longest marathons for reading, cuddling, having sex, cooking, massaging, and many other pastimes.
According to sources, Guinness World Records has acknowledged that when Hilda Baci’s record was broken, there was a rise in the number of Nigerian applicants after receiving 1500 applications.
GWR said, “The attention and excitement that Hilda Baci’s cooking marathon gained was certainly an incentive for many Nigerians to consider attempting a Guinness World Records title. Since her record attempt, there has been a spike in applications from Nigeria, particularly for marathon records.”
