Lagos Police arrest Sam Larry over Mohbad’s Death.

The controversial Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known by his stage name Sam Larry, has been detained by the Lagos State Police Command as part of an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the murder of artist Ilerioluwa Aloba, commonly known as Mohbad.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command’s public relations officer, confirmed the development to our correspondent over the phone late on Thursday night.

“Yes, Balogun Eletu aka Sam Larry has been apprehended. “Right now, he is assisting with the ongoing investigation,” Hundeyin said.

According to The PUNCH, the police had already asked Sam Larry and singer Azeez Fashola, nicknamed Naira Marley, to testify on Mohbad’s passing.

While they wait for the results, the police last week also revealed that pathologists had completed the autopsy of Mohbad.
