Ghanaian rapper Medikal, known for his stage name, confirmed via a tweet on X, formerly Twitter, that his marriage to Fella Makafui is over.
The couple, consisting of Ghanaian actress and serial entrepreneur Fella Makafui and rapper Medikal, exchanged vows three years ago on March 7, 2020.
Their marriage has been marked by controversy, with rumors of divorce circulating frequently.
In a tweet that quickly gained attention, Medikal acknowledged the end of their marriage, stating that they are now focused on co-parenting.
Prior to Medikal’s announcement, there were allegations that he had fathered a child with another woman. An Instagram blogger, West African Celebs, claimed that Medikal had impregnated a woman, who was threatening to reveal their relationship and the pregnancy publicly.
According to the blogger, the woman allegedly contacted Fella Makafui regarding the child she is carrying, purportedly from her husband.
Before these reports surfaced, both Medikal and Fella had unfollowed each other on Instagram, indicating potential strain in their relationship.
Fella Makafui has not issued an official response to Medikal’s statement regarding their separation.
