The Ashanti Regional Secretariat of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has once again become another centre of attraction after violence broke out among two factions resulting in a free-for-all fight.

A video of the incident that has gone viral on social media and sighted by MyNewsGh.com revealed angry party supporters pummeling each other with plastic chairs and wooden benches used in the very charged environment.

MyNewsGh.com is unable to tell when the video was taken and what may have triggered the violence in the video after a similar one months ago resulted in the death of one person and the injury of another.

In the less than one minute video, other angry party supports are seen engaged in fisticuffs with one in a white smock struck to the ground while the rest are busily lifting objects on sight to either defend themselves or hit their opponents.

The Ashanti Regional Secretariat of the NDC is currently tight-lipped over the incident which is believed to have been recorded by an activist who is heard in the background justifying his decision to take the footage.

It comes barely two months after there was an attack at the Ashanti Regional National Democratic Congress (NDC) office in Kumasi which left one dead and another injured.

The Ashanti Regional Police declared 13 persons wanted over the shooting and killing at the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) party office in the region including  one Sani Mohammed alias Commando, Wayo, Element, Jah Rule, as well as Petit, Akon, Fayiz, Mallam, Rock, Hussein Barri alias ‘Warrior’, Midjima, Damos and Abu Taliban.

Three of the wanted suspects, Wayo, Rock and Petit voluntarily surrendered to police according to the Ashanti Regional Police PRO Godwin Ahianyo and are currently being prosecuted.
