Rev. Father Peter Kusi Twumasi, the Acting Rector of St. Stephen Rectorate in Bodomase, has issued a sincere apology for singing King Paluta’s song “Aseda” during a church service.

A video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, shows the Rev. Father using the popular song to emphasize his message of praise to God.

However, in a letter addressed to the church leadership, Rev. Father Twumasi expressed regret for his actions, acknowledging that he was swept up in the moment and inadvertently allowed a secular song to enter the sacred setting.

He clarified that his intentions were never to disrespect the Church’s traditions.
