The mother of dancehall act Shatta wale has boldly claimed that his son’s music will be studied in universities across the country very soon.
Madam Elsie Evelyn Avemegah in an interview on Accra based radio station Hot FM divulged that very soon everyone will understand Shatta Wale’s music and it will be studied as a course in the Universities.
“Very soon, as am saying, his (Shatta Wale) music shall be a study subject across all universities.I’m still hammering for it. Everyone will understand Shatta Wale’s music if not for today,a time will come everyone will comprehend.” Madam Avemegah said.
Shatta Wale’s mother also thanked SM fans for supporting her son in his just held Reign concert.
Madam Evelyn’s claim that his son will be studied in the University comes a few months after renowned music producer, Hammer called for Sarkodie to be studied in schools.
According to him, Sarkodie’s 11 years accomplishment should be a case study in schools and that no artiste in the history of Ghana music can boast of such feat.
