The MP for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has waded into yet another controversies by claiming that there are no credible people in the NDC for John Mahama to choose from.
John Mahama won the primaries against 6 other candidates with the former president amassing 95.24% of the total vote casts leaving his contenders to squabble over the less than 5% a poll that involved about 330,000 NDC voters.
Speaking to Jerry Forson (CJ) of Adom TV from Alisa Hotel where the NPP are holding the National Executives Council meeting to endorse Nana Akufo-Addo’s candidature, the maverick legislator opined that it has become difficult for Mahama because there is no one in the NDC who can match the intelligence and hard work of vice president Dr. Bawumia.
However, John Mahama has announced in a Facebook broadcast that the leading opposition party will unveil its manifesto and running mate in August in the build-up to the 2020 elections.
