The poor work ethics of some health personnel has been highlighted by Sarkodie when he narrated a gripping story of how his grandmother died in his arms after nurses wasted time in attending to her, eventually asking him to get a stretcher himself.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the rapper sadly recounted how he his grandmother died in his arms because there was no ready stretcher at the hospital to convey her for treatment
He explained that he rushed her to the hospital only to be told by one of the nurses “to go and find a stretcher himself”.
According to him, this what necessitated his Black Excellence song and his recent Twitter rants about Africa needing dictatorship which received a huge backlash from Ghanaians.
