Singer and Model, Deborah Vanessa has said that Ghanaian parents and teachers should desist from teaching their children with the bible.

According to her, the bible is archaic and should never be used as a reference point when teaching children of 21st century where human understanding of events is evolving.

She mentioned that it’s prudent for parents to ensure that their children are trained with materials which align with the season and times and not a material like the bible which was written years ago.

She made this known when she spoke to Accra-based Accra FM in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com

She noted that while growing up, she was taught that wearing short skirt leads to rape but growing up has taught her that it was the most stupid thing to be taught in school and there was therefore the need to scrap such a thing from the educational system.
