Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah who is the founder and leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministry International has described Pastors who refuse to vote during elections as fools.
The outspoken man of God who is very vibrant in the Political game emphasized that Pastors who refuse to vote during general elections leave the decision of ‘leaders’ in the hands of others and later end up complaining about the state of the economy.
Rev. Owusu Bempah made this assertion during a sermon at his Church and he even backed his opinion with scriptures.
His assertion comes at the back of several Pastors criticizing him for his involvement in Politics.
Rev. Owusu Bempah who is tagged as a staunch New Patriotic Party(NPP) member said:
“When Joseph was at Pharoah’s palace, there was no law which was made against the Jews. Those pastors who have been speaking against colleagues for their involvement in politics, I tell you that if God does not intervene, a time will come that there will be a decree that Christianity be proscribed in Ghana.”
“If we are not careful, a time will come Christianity will be crippled and other religions lifted. You call yourself a man of God but speaks against pastors on the basis that they are NPP, NDC” He added.
