Staunch supporter of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Asare Obeng otherwise known as A Plus has observed that Ghana is blessed with all the natural resources the world can boast about but common sense.

He observed that more than 62 years after independence, the country has cocoa, timber, bauxite, diamond, natural gas among others yet its citizens still go hungry and rely on other nations for support.

This he noted is not caused by anything but the lack of common sense and foresight on the part of those at the helm of affairs who must avail themselves for common sense in order to solve the problems of the country.

In a Facebook post sighted,  he said “Ghana is Africa’s largest producer of gold. Yet the roads in mining areas are very bad. No better healthcare or schools. Ghana has found Africa’s largest deposit of oil. Ghana is Africa’s second largest producer of cocoa. Yet some kids in cocoa growing areas have never tasted chocolate. Ghana has bauxite. Ghana has Timber. Ghana has diamond. Ghana has Natural gases. Ghana has just found a new mineral; lithium. Ghana has fresh water and fertile soil yet the people are hungry. Ghana has sunshine and rain all year round yet there is no stable electricity supply and no water in many areas.

The only essential mineral resources Ghana has not found in commercial quantities in 62 years are leadership and common sense!!!! ?????
