Gifty Louise Agyeman, a Ghanian-born English singer from London, who competed in Series 13 of The X Factor as part of the Girls category mentored by Simon Cowell, has competed recording songs with Bisa Kdei and Kidi.
According to the singer, who is visiting Ghana 15 years after her last visit, she hopes to work with a lot more Ghanaian artists before she leaves back to the UK.
Gifty Louise talked about working with Simon Cowell, her chances as a female artist in Ghana, and more in an interview on KOKONSA TV.
She was eliminated in Week 4 of X Factor, finishing in 9th place and missing out on a spot on the live tour. She first auditioned during Series 12 and successfully made it to Bootcamp but was eliminated at this stage of the show. She returned a year later and wowed the judges in her audition. This time she successfully made it past the Six Chair Challenge and all the way to Judges’ Houses mentored by Simon Cowell. He chose her to go through to the live shows.
