One of the Eleven (11) persons who tested positive for the deadly coronavirus disease bringing the total has made public statement before by health practitioners over his predicament.
According to him, he never showed signs and symptoms of the deadly virus but results came out positive when a test was run on him.
“I have shown no symptoms of any virus; I have no fluid, cold or anything like that but when I submitted myself for a checkup and I was eventually tested positive for the conoravirus”, the victim spoke on Nhyira FM from the Ridge Hospital in Accra where he is being quarantined..
Reports indicated a victim who returned to Accra from France within the past 14 days came into contact with the latest patients as well as the six previous patients.
“Where I contacted the virus I have no idea; it could be on the plane. People I had contact with as a businessman”
So far Eleven (11) cases have been recorded in Ghana with the latest 2 coming from one of Ghana’s populated regions, the Ashanti Region.
According to officials of the Ghana Health Service, the two new cases included a 59-year old female Ghanaian resident in Britain, who recently returned to Ghana and lived in Kumasi.
The second is a 61-year old Lebanese male trader in Kumasi, who reported ill to a hospital because of fever and cough.
“The samples taken from the two individuals tested positive for COVID-19, and the two are being treated in isolation and are responding to treatment,” according to GHS.
