The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo-Dankwa Akuffo Addo will address the nation tonight from the Parliament House on coronavirus cases and new measures put in place to combat the Pandemic.
It was disclosed by the Majority Leader of Parliament, Osei Kyei Bonsu today that the President will focus on new measures adopted by the government to stem the rapid spread of the deadly coronavirus.
Because of the rapidly unfolding events [about the coronavirus], the President will be addressing the nation today,” Majority Leader told Parliament today.
The Ghana Medical Association has called on the President to lockdown the country to help curb the spread of the deadly virus.
The President, however, said that a complete lockdown won’t be implemented for now but his government will put in place new measures to fight the virus.
