Charterhouse CEO Theresa Ayoade who hadn’t spoken much on the Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy ban from VGMA  has stated that the idea of bringing the two Dancehall Artist back into the music awards is still been decided on by the team .

The duo who were having an issue between them for a while couldn’t contain it inside and brought it on the stage of last year VGMA as stonebwoy removed a gun to defend himself as Shatta came on the stage where he was about accepting his award for best dancehall artist.

Theresa who was speaking at Arts Edition of the Beyond the Lock down when asked she said when she would bring back the two most wanted artistes unto the music awards again replied saying his company has not thought about it yet.

“We haven’t had an internal conversation around that yet.”She said when asked .

“When we are ready to make full announcement on the VGMA’s, we will come up with a full statement on everything,” she added .

Stonebwoy who also came on the show when asked how the ban has affected him personally and his business stated that it hadn’t affected him in any way but has rather helped him push his music further.

According to him, he’s happy he is done with the court case around him pulling gun at the event and also gives thanks for his absence which has allowed others to shine.

“Some artistes have come to say it was a blessing in disguise for them because some of us are not on the wards with them because that is the only way they can prosper so it gives me joy to be a blessing to people even though it was supposed to bring me down” He said.
