The Electoral Commission of Ghana has asked Media Houses To desist from using the Charlotte Osei designed logo for carrying stories.

According to the Commission, it has reversed to the very old logo which tells the Electoral Commission’s story and depicts its duty and mandate.

The EC in a statement said it had noted that the media continues to use the Charlotte Osei logo which is no longer in use and was reversed In December 2018.

Madam Charllote Osei during her tenure changed the logo of the commission as a move to re-brand Ghana’s Electoral Commission.

When questioned for the change, Madam Charlotte Osei said “We saw it, we loved it, we chose it” was all Mrs Charlotte Osei could say in defence of the introduction of the new logo. And when asked how she was going to fund all this rebranding, she said that would be the headache of the Finance Minister”.
