The 17-track album released this year by comedian cum actor Funny Face has unanimously been rejected by music-loving fans both home and abroad.

This wanton rejection by Ghanaians of the ‘Animal Kingdom’ album is giving Funny Face sleepless nights and burdensome days especially when he is not able to recoup how much he invested in the project.

The ‘Animal Kingdom’ album was released by the ‘Cow n Chicken’ hitmaker to make a strong statement about his musical abilities and how prepared he is to overtake the local entertainment scene by storm.

Well, the album appears not to be catching the fancy of his fans which has consequentially left the musician in disarray as he cries foul on social media.

” GYE NYAME “ When you think of how u have struggled paaaa in producing your 17 tracks #ANIMALKINGDOM Album and the Thousands of CD’s you printed paaaaa , and Ghanaians didn’t buy !! U feel like standing quietly and fold ur hands as u watch life pass by .. herrrrh,” Funny Face tweeted.

Interestingly, the local music industry has been flooded with actors who claim they have singing abilities and have turned themselves into overnight ‘Micahel Jacksons’ etc.

The likes of Emelia Brobbey, Funny Face, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, Kwaku Manu, just to mention but a few have all released one song or the other in a bid to announce themselves as the next big thing to happen to Ghana Music.

Well, as they always say: ‘The Proof Of The Pudding Is In The Eating.” Therefore, it is obvious why Funny Face is spellbound and left in forever shock over the neglect of his ‘album’ by well-meaning music lovers.
