No Political Party In Ghana Can Pay Me For Endorsement – Shatta Wale

Dancehall Artiste Shatta Wale born Charles Nii Armah Mensah has stated that Ghanaian political parties cannot pay him for endorsement.

Shatta Wale who is in Kumasi on a tour of the region made this known when he spoke to Dave Hammer on Hello FM. To him, Politics is not his thing and if a political party will want him to endorse their bid, they will have to reach some terms of his; this he believes Ghanaian political parties may find it difficult to accept.

Shatta Wale indicated that regardless of the monetary benefit, politics is not his thing and therefore will not be willing to venture that path.

”If they want to convince me to do it, they have to come to my terms… Political parties are not my type of thing…I am so expensive for a political party; they can’t pay me….if they want to approach me; it’s going to be a very difficult thing. If they want to convince me to do it they have to come to my terms but it’s not my thing,” he said.
