A man name Dahiru Buba has been gifted a space wagon car and N2m by the government for his sacrifice in 2015.
Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya has gifted a 50-year-old Dahiru Buba for his selfless sacrifice during Buhari’s victory celebration.
In a report published by PUNCH, Buba narrated how he was mocked by other people for trekking from Gombe to Abuja to celebrate the victory of President Major General Muhammadu Buhari after the 2015 presidential election.
Ismaila Misilli, Senior Special Assistant to the Gombe State Governor on Media who confirmed the development said
“This is as a result of good journalism; giving voice to the voiceless. Your medium granted an interview to the man who trekked from Gombe to Abuja in celebration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in 2015.
He has been presented a Space wagon car by the governor. The man is a driver by training and was given the sum of N2m.”
