The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama is lamenting over President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s decision to abandon all developmental projects he initiated which were not completed before he left office throughout the country.

Reacting to some NDC projects that have still not been completed by the current government, the torch bearer of NDC indicated that President Akufo-Addo’s government has abandoned all his projects because he (Akufo-Addo) does not want to give him the credit after completion.

Addressing the Chiefs and the people of Atwereboana in the New Edubiase Constituency of the Ashanti Region as part of his 3 days campaign tour in Ashanti Region, John Dramani Mahama listed his Projects in New Edubiase Constituency which have been abandoned by President Akufo-Addo’s government.

The Projects include; Adanse Apadwa Community Day School, New Edubiase Sports Stadium, Cocoa Roads, rural electrification projects and many others.

According to him, President Akufo-Addo has wasted taxpayers’ money by abandoning developmental projects just because of politics.

“Though my government initiated the projects which have been abandoned by NPP’s government but the money is not from my pocket. The money is taxpayers’ but they have been abandoned because of selfish politics”. He disclosed

The Former President added that “president Akufo-Addo has abandoned all my initiated projects because he knows he will give me the credit after completion. Because of ‘Abro ne Bayie’ to wit wickedness and witchcraft all the projects have been abandoned while Ghanaians are crying for the completion of those projects.

He reiterated his commitment to complete stalled and abandoned projects, such as rural electrification, e-block, water systems and road construction across the country when re-elected, charging residents of New Edubiase and the chiefs to vote massively for NDC in the December 7 general elections.

The Chief of Adanse Dompoase Okofo Sobin Kan II expressed his gratitude to former President John Dramani Mahama for initiating developmental projects in the Constituency.

He used the opportunity to urge all politicians to desist from politics of insults and ensure peaceful elections in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
