Tiwa Savage’s Koroba makes New York Times’ Best Songs Of 2020

Top Nigerian Pop and Soul singer, Tiwa Savage, has been included on the New York Times list of the Best Songs of 2020.

The recognition is for her song, ‘Koroba’ which sits comfortably at number 8.

The global media organization describes Savage’s Koroba as “a crisp Afrobeats groove with hints of Middle Eastern modes, besieged by sudden salvos of percussion.”

New York Times further added that “the Nigerian songwriter Tiwa Savage suavely mocks corrupt, immoral politicians.”
