Afia Schwarzenegger has slammed the over 60 companies and affluent individuals who inundated Oswald Gennuh with gifts over the Our Day letter he addressed to his mother which went viral.
Typical of Afia who never uses euphemisms when dealing with pertinent issues like this inhabiting her aggressive chest, the comedienne and mother of three argued that are so many poor people out there who can read and write better than Oswald yet those ‘foolish’ companies failed to extend their philanthropy to them.
She argued that the 9-year old Oswald is from a rich background already so the gifts were needless.
”We all saw the supposed trending letter the Oswald Kid wrote which many poor people kids can write better than Oswald, But foolish Mtn, Vodafone and KFC are not helping these kids”. Afia Schwarzenegger said this in a recent video she posted on Instagram.
Oswald became an internet sensation after a letter he addressed to his mother demanding things he wants to celebrate their last day of the academic term with (Our Day) in their school on July 30 went viral on Twitter.
Oswald had over 60 companies, including Dolait Ghana, KFC Ghana, Pizza King, Burger King, MTN Ghana, amongst others giving him their products with three A-list Ghanaian artists (KiDi, Mr. Drew and Dope Nation) pulling up to treat him to a free musical concert amongst other jaw-dropping gifts for him in connection with the aforementioned.
