The Ethiopian national team is the first to arrive in Cameroon ahead of the start of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
They arrived in the coutry on Sunday, December 26.
After arriving in Cameroon yesterday via the Yaounde and set up their base at the Hotel des Députés.
The team had just some few hours to rest before holding their first training session at the annex stadium of the Yaounde Omnisports stadium.
Before leaving their country , the team was treated to a farewell reception last week-end with the Minister of Sports and Culture, KerdelaMedasa and the President of the Ethiopian Football Federation, Esayas Jira handing over the country’s flag to the team coaches Bebetu Abate and AmbeluKebede.
The Ethiopian Football Federation also handed out gifts to the various partners of the national team for their show of support throughout the year.
Ethiopia are drawn in Group A of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations alongside hosts Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Cape Verde.
