Daddy Freeze, a well-known Nigerian media figure, has asked Nigerians to support their favourite political candidate without assaulting one another.
This comes after Nigerian comedian Mr Jollof was harassed online for declaring support for Bola Tinubu.
In response to a video of Mr Jollof claiming he will continue to advocate for Tinubu despite the criticism, Daddy Freeze stated Nigerian youths need to work on political choice freedom.
Daddy Freeze stated that he loves Peter Obi, but it does not negate his admiration for Bola Tinubu, his political magnificence, and his leadership vision.
The media celebrity went on to say that he would do everything he could to assist Peter Obi, but that even if Tinubu wins, it will still be a win for the youths and Nigeria.
“My message to @mr.jollof_ One of the things Nigerian youngsters need to work on is political choice freedom,” he added. I adore Peteru and am obedient to him. This isn’t to say I don’t admire Ashiwaju, his political magnificence, or his leadership vision.”
“I’d vote for Peteru and give him all my support, but even if BAT wins, it’ll still be a win for the young and Nigeria.”
“Let’s have some fun with this election, and may the best man win… Let us vote in love and peace for our respective candidates.”
