Two military officers allegedly raped a student at the Damongo Nurses Training College while undergoing training at the 155 armoured regiments in Damongo, Ghana’s Savannah Region.
The incident occurred about 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, when the suspects went to the school to meet their female friend, according to Citi News.
When the woman exited the room to get her documents, the soldiers mistaken her for a friend and pulled her to an urine pit, where they raped her. The event was reported to the military headquarters in Damongo, and the two were identified during an identification parade.

They were then turned over to the cops to be investigated further. On Tuesday, June 14, the two soldiers will be arraigned in the Bole District Court.
