Naira Marley, a Nigerian rapper and head of a record company, has indicated interest in signing Lasmid, a budding Ghanaian musician, to Marlian Music.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, he stated that he is impressed with the fresh crop of Ghanaian artists on the rise.
The singer of “Tesumole” declared, “There are many new, serious Ghanaian artists emerging, and I am attempting to sign some of them. Although I believe some of them have already been signed, I would really like to.
Lasmid gained notoriety after winning Ghana’s MTN Hitmaker music competition.
Naira Marley praised Lasmid and mentioned that he likes his music, saying that he would like to sign him to Marlian Music alongside Zinoleesky and Mohbad.
He said; “I am looking at a couple of young artistes I can sign. Lasmid is hard. The kid is really good.”
