It was obvious how heartbroken the South African families who had lost loved ones were. They had assembled in Soweto on Thursday for the memorial service for the 16 victims of the weekend mass shooting.
The bereaved family members yelled for justice under a marquee that had been set up a few meters from the Tavern where the tragedy took place.
“How many more people must die before we stop? He was married and had kids; he is my brother. His family has no other support system. Before we hold our brother’s funeral, we want the government to find those who carried out the shooting.”
