Professor Kofi Agyekum, often known as Opayin Agyekum, the dean of the University of Ghana’s School of Performing Arts, has advised the country’s ruling New Patriotic Party to avoid activities that could cause internal strife inside the party.
Opayin Agyekum commented on the fallout from a health walk staged in Kumasi in support of flagbearer candidate Alan Kyeremanten and the issues that resulted:
“The NPP should take a lesson from 1 Corinthians 1:10 if they desire to shatter the “8”; nevertheless, it is up to them if they believe divisions will do so. It’s also up to you if you believe that unity would benefit you “During a panel discussion on Peace FM’s morning program “Kokrokoo,” he issued a warning.
