On Wednesday, the police headquarters in Lagos State, Nigeria, reported that gunmen had murdered an inspector in the Coker Aguda neighborhood of Lagos.
The Inspector was shot while riding in a taxi, according to the command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who verified this to the News Agency of Nigeria.
The command, according to the spokesman, has initiated investigations to find and apprehend the gunman.
After the event, according to Hundeyin, the tricycle driver was detained for interrogation and released with instructions to reappear on Thursday to help with the inquiry.
The creator of the photograph claimed that although the inspector was assigned to a bank, the incident didn’t take place there.
He had already left and was riding a tricycle. He was the only passenger and had actually rented the trike.
He was attacked, shot, and his duty gun was removed. He passed away during the night, according to the spokesman, who was quoted by nigerianewsdirect. It happened in the afternoon at 3 p.m.
He stated that the victim’s family would be contacted before the identify of the deceased was made public.
