Biogas Expert Engineering , a Ghanaian-based company that advertised an upcoming program on Onua Tv for craftsmanship training in Biofil digester system, Compound flooring, Saw dust to charcoal processing, Tie and dye making and Air condition installation program to be held on 27th August 2022 at Paloma hotel, turned up to be a means of extorting money from the poor youth who participated in the program.
Advert Africa in an interview with Mr, Robert Sekle a participant in this program said, the commercial on Onua Tv stated plainly that Biogas Expert Engineering was going to teach them something practical so that they could start working with it to make ends meet looking at Ghana’s current economic crisis.
Each participant was made to pick a form for GHS50.00 and an on premise participation fee of GHS 400.00 amounting to a total of GHS 450.00, there were 120 youth in attendance. However after the lessons on Biofil digester system, Tie and dye Making and Air condition installation, the rest were nothing to write home about. According to Mr, Robert Sekle and other participants, they enrolled on this program to learn how to make Compound flooring, but it turn out that the company, Biogas Expert Engineering had no idea about what they advertised for on the Onua tv.
Most of the participants we spoke to were disappointed and demanded for a 50% refund of what they paid but the organizers did not grant them audience. A total of GHS 54,000.00 was extorted from these participants.

We edge Onua Tv and the ministry for youth development in Ghana to look into such companies to stop discrediting the good name of Ghana.
