At the University of Professional Studies in Accra, Ghanaian singer Rebecca Acheampong has won the award for best master’s student in brands and communication. She was the top student overall and finished a one-year program.
Becca, the stage name of Rebecca Acheampong, made her debut in show business on the TV3 Mentor reality series. She released Sugar, her debut studio album, in 2007, and it received five significant nominations for the Ghana Music Awards, or VGMA.
Becca shared news of her latest achievement on Instagram with the caption, “Wooow…This can only be God. I need to catch my breath. I am indeed grateful to God. To my group 1 team members, you guys are the best!!! Best Masters student in Brands and Communication. Best Overall Student (1-year program). Valedictorian 2022 @upsaccra. If you can dare to dream, you can achieve it.”

Becca has won a number of accolades both nationally and internationally, including one National Youth Achievers Award, one Kora Award, and three 4Syte Music Video Awards.
