Wendy Shay, a Ghanaian singer, has requested that her Ghanaian colleagues learn Nigerian musicians’ insider information. Tic Tac warned her to stick to topics that were within her range of understanding after she praised Nigerians for introducing Africa to the global music business in an earlier post.
In her most recent Facebook post, Wendy Shay demonstrates that she is unaffected by the veiled insult to her IQ and continues to spread her message.
She wrote, ” Give Nigerian artistes their flowers for bringing the world’s attention to Africa through Afro beats and you people vex?”
Wendy Shay, who is well aware of the competition between the two industries, continued to explain why she praised Nigerian music.

“I will say it again. Let’s swallow our pride, go to them and ask them how they did it. They might show us the road. God is using me to speak to you. You People, no wan listen. Ghana, wake up!”
Numerous tracks that are popular on Boomplay, Spotify, and Apple charts demonstrate how quickly afro beats is spreading to various cultures. The genre, which many international acts have embraced with features and is thought to have originated in Nigeria, has gained popularity worldwide.
