Traditional worshippers recently assaulted a police station in the Epe neighborhood of the Lagos state city of Epedo to secure the release of their drummer, who had been detained by some policemen on September 20.
The traditional worshippers, who were all dressed in white and each had a cane, entered the police station’s grounds before demanding the release of their drummer, who had been detained by a station officer.
One of the traditional worshipers stated in a video that was posted online that they also forced the release of other suspects detained at the police station in Eredo, in the Epe region of Lagos state.
